GOLF LEAGUE
One of the biggest ways we at Black Excellence Golf help build community around the game of golf, for both men and women, is through our monthly member tournaments and season ending B.E.G. Championship. At each event we aim to create an engaging and fun atmosphere, while providing a top notch golf experience with some friendly competition!

There’s a place for ALL skill levels as tournaments are split into flights, allowing you to compete with golfers of similar handicaps. So if you’re brand new to the game or have been playing your entire life, make holes in the ground or perfect divots, there’s a place for you!
​
If you're not a member yet, we do offer a "guest pass" option for ONE tournament only. After that, a membership will be needed for continued play. Guests registrations do not earn points and receive priority after members.

Points Race: The player with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned the B.E.G. Points Champion and other high cash valued prizes! Additional medals and prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

The format is Flighted, individual stroke play. Gross Scoring is used and kept via a live, real time leaderboard. We utilize TheGrint Golf App for day of tournament management and ongoing season points tracking. A free profile at TheGrint Golf App will be required to participate.

Flights:

Allows you to only be paired with golfers having similar handicaps.

We will use your current USGA Handicap Index, handicaps estimated via TheGrint Golf App, and stated handicaps (only if necessary and for your first round).

If you already have a USGA Handicap Index, you can link it to your free profile in TheGrint Golf App. If you want to get an official USGA Handicap Index, you may get one online, through your local golf association of choice, or directly through TheGrint Golf App.

An official USGA Handicap Index is not required but is recommended.

We will strive to have shotgun starts to create more social interaction between playing members while on the golf course, but for some tournaments the use of standard tee times could be imposed by the course.

All qualifiers will receive FREE swag bags with personal and golf related items inside!

The winner will be crowned Champion, taking home the coveted B.E.G. Championship Trophy and other high cash valued prizes! Additional medals and prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers.

Those who finish the season ranked in the top 80, and compete in at least 3 monthly tournaments, will qualify for the championship.

Seeding of players will take into account point totals, number of flight wins, and total number of events played.
